dc.description.abstract Ideanote is a young software company that applies the Lean Startup methodology. They believe in validated learning, rather than market forecasting or classical business planning. The team wants to create the product together with the users. However, the Customer Success team is rather small, so handling customer feedback and conducting user testing quickly becomes an overwhelming task. Currently, Ideanote’s main approach to gathering user data is sending out emails to existing customers and asking for feedback. Another method that the team applies is conducting interviews and focus groups. The issue lays in the fact that these techniques are consuming too much time and resources and offer limited results. Furthermore, it can be identified that the company has been on market only for a few years. That is why the software they are producing is not yet fully matured. The team is continuously adding and changing features, releasing new versions of the platform - all with the purpose of creating more value for the customer. Because the product is in an ongoing development process, the rapid changes make it hard to collect feedback and, moreover, to identify which features are needed and which are not. All these factors contribute to Ideanote’s difficulty of gaining and retaining new customers. Thus, the brand has to become more engaging, whilst creating a better brand image and relationship with its users. Additionally, to ensure the success of the product, a more effective feedback-loop system must be implemented. en_US
