dc.description.abstract With millions of apps in each app store struggling to rank one above another, the truth is that the majority of developers (indie studios mostly) are not investing any of their resources in App Store Optimization. And this is important because, ASO generates free organic downloads, that could turn into quality users – meaning that users are not convinced by an ad to try an app, but they are looking for an app, which proves an existing need or interest, thus having chances of becoming loyal users. Most developers spend most of their time on app development and other technicalities, and leave behind other significant parts of the business, like the promotion of their product. The developers don’t have the time, nor the proper expertise to handle the next stage of their finalized app – the launch and the app’s success (which ultimately means higher revenue). How can indie app developers have a more in-depth understanding of the importance of ASO and advance their steps towards a successful app by the use of ASO? en_US
