dc.description.abstract The development within IOT technology is on the rise and some new technologies such as LPWAN and Mesh networking is changing the way our devices can talk to each other and stay connected. And while much of the IOT product development that is being done at the moment revolves around making costumers lives easier in their homes, cars or jobs there is also a growing interest in developing IOT that can do more than just connecting our phone to our coffee machine. IOT products are being developed in recent years that can help companies reducing waste, keeping track of assets and even helping saving lives through ensuring hospital staff are sanitary. This project is aimed at developing such an IOT product that utilizes some of these new technologies in order to possibly save lives. en_US
